The demise of CyberWire Dispatch has been greatly exaggerated, to steal from Mark Twain.
The copy flowing from the virtual offices of CWD headquarters hasn't exactly been burning up the Internet, this is true. At least no one can accuse us of "spamming" your mailbox.
Truth is, many of the stories that CWD has reported on in years past now overlap with my job as chief Washington correspondent for MSNBC.
CWD continues to accept articles from other correspondents; from time to time you've seen excellent work from Lew Koch, who I understand is still rooting around and digging up dirt for future CWD articles. CWD doesn't pay, but the exposure is pretty damn good. So, if you have a good article, send it along and we'll take a look at it.
In the meantime, keep watching your mailbox we may be slow, be we'll never quit.
As a housekeeping measure, remember, if you want to remove yourself from this list, send a message to:
No subject line is needed. In the first line of the message put:
That's all you need.
Thanks for your continued support and for all those "cards and letters" from those concerned that perhaps CWD had gone quietly into the night. I assure you, nothing could be further from the truth.
